707 Horsepower, Street Legal Challenger

Chrysler is pumping up it’s Dodge Challenger SRT with their Hellcat engine which produces a total of 707 horsepower, available starting in the fall.

The Hellcat will have an 8 speed automatic transmission or a six-speed manual

Because owners may not trust their sixteen year olds with 707 horsepower, the SRT Hellcat will come with two separate key fobs to start the car. Red enables the full power of the 707 horses while the black key fob will ONLY unleash 500 horsepower.

A new Shelby GT500 with potentially more power is expected to be revealed sometime soon.

According to Wall St. Cheat Sheet this places the SRT Hellcat in tenth place on the world list of most powerful production cars, just ahead of the Lamborghini Aventador which produces 700 HP and a top speed of 220.

In first place on the Cheat Sheet list is the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport with 1200 HP and a top speed of 267 miles per hour. The Bugatti comes with a price tag of 2.4 million.

Wow! Beautiful! Econo Auto Painting did a great job on my 2001 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab. After 10 years my trucks paint had faded in spots. I also had an accident and needed some  body work. It looks fantastic and the price was one third what the dealer wanted. Thanks
